New global business unit, Amplifi, will reinvent the supply side of media
London, 19 December 2012 - Aegis Group today announced the creation of a new Network Brand Board, reporting into Aegis Group’s Global Executive. The Network Brand Board will drive leadership of the brands, product and client development for each of Aegis’s networks - Carat, Vizeum, Isobar, iProspect and Posterscope – including brand positioning, thought leadership, global client management and new business.
In addition, and as part of the Network Brand Board, Aegis also announces the creation of a new global business unit, Amplifi*, which brings together all Aegis’s display media investment management under a single leadership.
The Network Brand Board, effective from 1 January 2013, will be chaired by Nigel Sharrocks, CEO Global Brands and all the appointments to the Network Brand Board are internal promotions.
- Doug Ray, President of Carat North America is appointed President, Carat Global, in addition to remaining as President of Carat North America;
- Thomas Le Thierry, Director of Projects EMEA is appointed President, Vizeum Global;
- Rob Murray, CEO iProspect US is appointed President, iProspect Global;
- John Murray, President, Digital Action Group and AMNET, is appointed President, Amplifi Global;
- Sue Frogley, Chief Commercial Officer, Global Clients is appointed President, Commercial Operations;
Posterscope, Aegis’s leading out-of-home agency, and Isobar, Aegis’s global digital agency, remain under the leadership of Global CEOs Annie Rickard and Mark Cranmer respectively. Both Annie Rickard and Mark Cranmer are members of Aegis Group’s Global Executive as well as members of the newly formed Network Brand Board.
